Christians are called to be “a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation...” (I Peter 2:9).
But what does that mean for us in our generation?
Holiness is a subject which most of us find perplexing and remote and therefore we tend to ignore it! But one commentator has suggested that there is a need to blow the whistle on the side-lining of personal holiness among Bible-centred Christians.
Therefore in this series we consider the theme of holiness, both the holiness of God and the holiness of God’s people. It is rooted in scripture and in particular the studies of the Old Testament book of Ezra.
We will also explore the themes of the Sovereignty of God and the importance of prayer and intercession in the life of the nation.
