Responsibility:
Readers are lay people who have been selected, trained and licensed by the Bishop of a diocese to preach, teach and lead worship in a pastoral context.

He is married to Denise and they have two grown up children; Becky and Sarah.
He retired in 2014 after working for 38 years in the law as a solicitor with a local firm.
He became a Christian at Leicester University in 1972. Apart from serving as a lay reader, he is also involved with Alpha as a group leader, helps run the Bible School which is a new initiative this autumn and with Denise is a member of the Prayer and Healing Team.
In his spare time he follows with mixed joys the unpredictable fortunes of Norwich City FC!
