St Giles has a vision to see lives being changed by the power of Jesus, one person at a time. The Good Loaf is a social enterprise which was established to provide real employment opportunities to vulnerable local women and break the cycle of poverty, unemployment and offending. By working through structured work placements, women gain practical skills and experience in a real work environment. For many, it’s a life-changing experience and provides a brand new start.
The Good Loaf is also a great café which is open Wednesday to Friday from 9 am to 2:30 pm and Saturday 8:30 am to 14:30 pm. It is located on the first floor at the corner of Overstone Road and Clare Street, in the heart of the Boot and Shoe Quarter, Northampton, NN1 3JL.
A number of St Giles people are involved at The Good Loaf. The team is made up of paid staff, volunteers and women on work placements who all work together to produce bread and baked products.
If you want to find out more, why not visit the café for yourself and meet the team or contact The Good Loaf by email
